Cookies On A Stick

My cousin Jana bought me this totally cool cookbook. It's called Paula Deen's My First Cookbook. I saw this recipe in there and wanted to make it. My cousins Drue and Presley came over so I decided this would be a good time to make this. It was so much fun.

Things you will need:

Cookie Sheet
Cutting Board
Knife
Pop Sticks
Oven Mitt
Spatula
Wire Rack

Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Mini or Regular sized M&M's

1. Turn on the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Take the wrapper off the cookie dough. Put the dough on the cutting board and slice it 1 inch thick. Insert a pop stick into the bottom of the cookie shoving it in half way into the cookie. Cover the top of each cookie with the M&M's: press them lightly into the dough. Put the cookies far enough apart so they have room to spread.

3. Bake for 13 minutes.

4. Remove cookies from the oven using an oven mitt. Let them cool on a wire rack. Watch out: Do not try to pick the cookies up off the cookie sheet until they cool or the stick will come out. After the cookies are cooled a little bit, you can use the spatula to carefully remove the cookies from the pan and put them on the wire racks to cool completely.
Enjoy!

Even Baby Dylan enjoyed them!
